PoojaVerse helps you discover poojas, deities, and shlokas, and connect with trusted purohits. We care about your privacy and we try to keep this policy short and clear. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what choices you have.
When you create an account we ask for your name and email address. We use these to set up your profile, sign you in, and contact you about your account. If you register as a vendor we also collect the details you choose to share on your public profile, such as your traditions, languages, and specialities.
We also store the things you do on the platform, like the items you favorite and the messages you send to vendors, so that the features work the way you expect.
Your account information is stored securely using Supabase, our database and authentication provider. Passwords are never stored in plain text. Access to the underlying data is limited to what is needed to run the service.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers.
You can view and update your name and other profile details at any time from your profile page. If you would like to delete your account and the data linked to it, contact us and we will take care of it. You can also stop receiving non essential emails whenever you want.
We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your session. These are needed for the site to work. We do not use cookies to track you across other websites.
PoojaVerse is meant for adults and for families using it together. We do not knowingly collect information from children without the involvement of a parent or guardian.
We may update this policy as the service grows. When we make meaningful changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Please check back from time to time.
If you have any questions about your privacy or this policy, please reach out through your account or write to our support team. We are happy to help.
