अङ्गं हरेः पुलकभूषणमाश्रयन्ती भृङ्गाङ्गनेव मुकुलाभरणं तमालम् । अङ्गीकृताखिलविभूतिरपाङ्गलीला माङ्गल्यदास्तु मम मङ्गलदेवतायाः ॥
Transliteration
Aṅgaṃ Hareḥ Pulakabhūṣaṇam Āśrayantī Bhṛṅgāṅganeva Mukulābharaṇaṃ Tamālam, Aṅgīkṛtākhilavibhūtir Apāṅgalīlā Māṅgalyadāstu Mama Maṅgaladevatāyāḥ
Translation
May the playful sidelong glance of the auspicious Goddess — who rests upon Hari's body the way a female bee settles on a blossoming tamala tree, and who has taken on herself every divine glory — grant me good fortune.
Meaning
Compares Lakshmi's closeness to Vishnu ('Hari') to a bee nestled in a flowering tree; 'angikritakhilavibhutih' credits her with embodying all forms of prosperity; 'apangalila' is her graceful glance, whose mere fall is believed to bestow blessing.
