नमस्तेऽस्तु महामाये श्रीपीठे सुरपूजिते । शङ्खचक्रगदाहस्ते महालक्ष्मि नमोऽस्तुते ॥
Transliteration
Namaste'stu Mahāmāye Śrīpīṭhe Surapūjite, Śaṅkhacakragadāhaste Mahālakṣmi Namo'stu Te
Translation
Salutations to you, Great Illusion-Weaver, throned in glory and worshipped by the celestials; salutations to you, Mahalakshmi, who bears the conch, discus, and mace.
Meaning
'Mahamaye' names her as the cosmic power behind manifest reality; 'shripithe' places her on her seat of splendor; the conch, discus and mace are Vishnu's emblems, here held by her, marking her as his active, protective power.
